FAQ's

How does it work?

Red Angel is inert until it mixes with R-134a. Red Angel is activated by air flow at the site of the leak - forming a chemical weld and repairing the system.

How large of a leak does it repair?

Red Angel will seal leaks in A/C systems that can hold 5 inches of vacuum for 25 minutes or 15 inches of vacuum for 5 minutes. A system that won’t hold 5 inches of vacuum on the low side for 25 minutes has a leak that is too large to be sealed, and will need a hard part repair.

How much do I use?

One can (4.5oz.) is used for A/C systems up to a 5 lb. capacity. When adding Red Angel to an evacuated system, substitute Red Angel for 2oz. of oil. When a vehicle has a slow leak & maintains a partial charge, add Red Angel along with the necessary amount of R-134a (see service manual).
